Believers across Central Florida and the 220 Nations of the World
join together for “the world’s largest prayer meeting” on
May 31st - Pentecost Sunday - the Global Day of Prayer
In recent years, hundreds of millions of Christians worldwide have come together in repentance and prayer on the annual Global Day of Prayer. Every individual, family, congregation and ministry is encouraged to join believers from all 220 nations of the world on that day, to pray in one accord!
Here in Central Florida , morning observances will take place in local church settings. Congregations have been asked to reserve a portion of their weekend morning services to read aloud and agree with “A Prayer For the World” (copy below) This prayer will be read in each one of the thousands of GDOP gatherings taking place around the world that day, which means that approximately 500 million people will be praying this prayer together, in many languages!
