Hello Gift of Grace Family!
I hope you’re having a great week. Last Sunday our message was “Let JESUS Calm Your Storms”. If you were not able to be with us in worship, it’s not too late to make your commitment to grow closer to God and each other through Gift of Grace. From here on out, you will have the opportunity to unite with Gift of Grace (join the church) at the close of Worship? Just listen for Pastor Sam to offer the invitation and come down front during prayer time.

This Sunday during worship we will celebrate in a service of “The 7 Churches” As you prepare for worship this weekend, make a list of what you think the 7 Churches are. See you Sunday!

Hello Gift of Grace Family!
I hope you’re having a great week. Last Wednesday Bible Study Pastor Jim took us on the journey of the Resurrection. There were some questions asked and Pastor Jim has said that he was going to research it. So on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 Bible Study we went on the Journey again with the Resurrection. While studying the scripture readings from Daniel 12:2, John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelations 20:4-6, Revelations 20:11, Revelations 7:13-14, Revelations 2:26 and Revelations 2:14-16. We learned that there were 4 resurrection listed in the Bible. If couldn’t attend the Bible study last night take the time to read these scripture readings and see if you can figure what are the 4 resurrection, that we learned last night. We will place what we came up in the next couple of days. Have fun and read and learn the Bible.

    Returning to God
Spiritual awakening involves returning to God. When God seems distant from us, it is never God who has departed from the relationship. God urged his people through th prophet Malachi.*...Return to Me, I will return to you" (Mal. 3:7). Throughout the historic accounts of revival there are repeated references to th nearness and palpable presence of God in the midst of people> Just as in the days of Malachi when God's people asked, "In what way shall we return?" (Mal 3:7), so God's people are often unaware of how far they have departed from God until He leads them to return In times of revival, God's people suddenly become aware of how far they have stayed from God, and return.

Looking unto Jesus The multiplying crises of our day demand:
    • The vision of someone who see the future
    • The security of someone who is the same...yesterday, today and forever
    • The integrity of someone who is the truth
    • The compassion of someone who is the God of all comfort
    • The strength of someone with Whom "nothing is impossible"
Having considered all the possibilities...there is no other name than the name of Jesus! Let's passionatelypursure a fresh Christ Awakening for our land! Lord Jesus...our eyes are upon Thee.

    The Father's Faithfulness
    Read Psalm 107 :1-6

Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not... Great is Your faithfulness.

    This post is trash.
Today is Earth Day…Whether you observe it or not, I think it is a great time to reflect on how we are doing if we consider ourselves stewards of God’s creation.
Think about the trash we put into the Earth…our consumption, our waste, etc. Can’t we do a better job of using less and recycling more? I think the answer is “yes”.
Think about our spiritual trash. I find that often times I give God my spiritual trash, aka all the stuff I don’t want in my life I just spout out to him and call that my prayer life. Do you give God your trash?
